SPO-7R provides a highly reliable stand-off capability for the detection of metallic and non-metallic person-borne concealed items, such as suidide boms, drugs, and large amounts of cash. The sensor is a real-time, non-imaging, passive millimeter wave system that detects concealed objects through clothing without raising privacy concerns. The subject does not have to be aware of the scan and cooperation from the subject is not necessary for screening to be effective.
